Joy in Dark Places

Here is the newest ODBD Sketch

I created this card with ODBD Scriptures 6 (part of which was won from their generous challenges) and the bloghop drawing from Want2Scrap (spellbinders and rhinestones).

You might be wondering why I used such a dark background for such a joyful verse? The word strength is a clue.  We don't need strength when things are great.  We need it when they are not wonderful and sunshiny.  That came to mind when making this...the times I needed His strength.  Meaning...the world around me seemed dark and ominous-but His light shone through that.  I purposely put the lighter corner at the top. ;)  May you have His strength!

Thank you for stopping by.

Info: ODBD Scripture 6, Memento Ink, clear embossing powder, Spellbinders Labels Eleven, Spellbinders Oval scallop, Want2Scrap Rhinestones, Sizzix Sun #2, Paper-Wordsworth Violet wash (I have had it awhile, secondhand), MS punch, Scor-Pal, Handmade glitter spray with Perfect Pearls on center strip, Papertrey Ink Matstack 3
